Is the air intake right by the passenger side of the hood? How the heck does that work?

Seriously, it looks like it would be a quick fun e36. Whats not to like?

I bet that cars stupid fast. It would eat an M3 for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Edit: O, that's the old supra engine. Not the one from the late 90s. Hrmmmm...

1jz is still fast but a 2jz would have been killer. Theres a shop out here that puts 2jzs in e36 bimmers.

And a 1jz is a jdm motor, the old us supra motor from the 90's is a 7mge-t

ijz motor..cheaper than 2jz...just as tuneable, can put down good power. just finished with a 1jz in a 240 and its pushing 450whp...would be a nice car to own

whats jdm?

answer: japanese domestic motors.
wich means it was built in japan for japanes sales, then some one imported it state side, not a car built in japan or the US or Canada. diferent specs, fuel emmisons/power and such. If that makes any cents

I see nothing wrong with it, a reliable engine with more power. Looks good too!

whats jdm?

Japanese domestic market. I guess the bmw counterpart to jdm is european spec, like that 6 speed e36 m3 evo motor/tranny that wasnt available in the us. Lol

2jz = 1000 who stable without changing a piston. Cant get that our of a 1j. I just started dealing in bimmers, my roots are in toyota and honda. 2j's are pricier than 1j's but worth every penny. 2jz = best motor in the world for boost hands down!
