Please excuse my noobishness but I'm after some information regarding fitting an aftermarket mocal 11 row oil cooler to a m62b44 engine.

I'm just about to start swapping the engine into my track Nissan. Just wondered if anyone has ever successfully fitted a cooler or has any links that would help, I've already had a search.

So far my ideas are either modify the hoses to the stock oil filter housing or replace the engine mount bracket and drill/tap the block.

Need ideas guys. Thanks.

From an engineering standpoint your first idea sounds the easiest. I am not sure why you would need one though.

Just because the car is going to be drifted quite alot and I'm used to higher oil temps, plus I want to do whatever possible to keep the engine cool because knowing my luck it'll blow straight away lol.

And I'm thinking it'll give me somewhere to get pickups from for pressure and temp gauges, unless there's somewhere else I can get them from?
