I'm looking into a 98 m3/2 black with "tope" interior, according to the owner. He says that he does not know the official color, but it looks to be a "tope". What official color would this be? He said it's sort of brownish. Would this mean Modena, or what?

Thanks guys,
Parker

I think taupe is that light brown/tan interior.

So do any of you guys have pics of what colors you think this TAUPE might be? I know what Modena sort of looks like, but not the other 2 shades of brown.

Thanks,
Parker

Anyway to find the official color through checking the VIN?
Carfax/info4cars.com do not list exterior/interior colors. Anyone know of some place that would?

Thanks,
Parker
