Hi everyone,
I've had a journey getting my bimmer up to Ontario standards. I finally, after a ton of headaches, got my emissions certificate and plan on posting the whole saga here to help people in the future when I get this thing going.
But for now...
Right when everything is almost good I encounter this problem...
The fuse that controls the headlight melted, I figured the problem and solved it. The guts inside the tailight arched. Now, when i put the fuse back in, the lights work, but will not shut of AND NEITHER WILL THE CAR.
I've read lots about the key cylinders being bad, but because the car shuts off when I remove the fuse, im lead to believe otherwise in this case...
Help would be greatly appreciated, I'm desperate and on a tight timeline.
Thanks,
Eric
