Hello,
I am sure some of you can relate; I love my car, perhaps too much. It is a blast to drive, shines beautifully in the sun, and gets great gas mileage. I know her inside and out, all the little quirks, and how to treat her just the way she likes it. Likewise, she treats me right, and makes me smile every day. It's a beautiful relationship, unfortunately it's nearing an end. A new fling, (20v quattro) has stolen my heart, and now it's time to say goodbye to my beloved E30.

--Meat & Potatoes
281,000 miles and Reconstructed title (due to body damage?)
1.8L DOHC 4cyl (M42) engine, 5-Speed w/ good clutch, & 4.10 LSD
Nice Alpine White paint, in decent condition.
Runs and drives perfectly, like a new BMW (minus the lack of power asst. steering)
--The Good
Replaced thermostat
Replaced shocks with stiffer Gas-A-Just shocks, stock height
Replaced timing chain tensioner piston
Replaced spark plug wires
Upgraded to 2.5" Magnaflow exhaust
Replaced front passenger wheel hub, due to stripped lug threads
Found, painted (rattle can), and installed factory 'is' rear spoiler
New brake rotors up front
Replaced both control arms and tie-rod ends in front steering assembly
Replaced rear differential with (same) used (125k mi) diff (4.10 limited slip)
--The Bad
Crack in windshield, from passenger side creeping to drivers side. Technically illegal but not big enough to get a ticket
Power assisted steering, is not power assisted; has driven fine without whole time I've owned, only notice while parking.
A/C doesn't work, previous owner says its switch or connect on compressor, hasn't worked whole time I've owned, not missed
Hood release inside missing, use flat-head screw driver to trip latch through front grill, no problem
Sunroof handle missing, car comes with bavauto.com gift cert for a new one
Very minimal rust forming behind rear bumper (see pics)
Salvage title: Passenger side front fender signs of body work, very small hard to see (see pics),
I've listed her for $2000, but am happy to haggle a bit; I understand it would be hard for someone to appreciate the car the way I do, especially with a reconstructed title. I would appreciate your help in determining a fair price for this car, or if it looks like something you may be interested in, drop an offer and we'll talk about it. I would love to open some dialogue.
Thanks for your help, in advance
