Recently we bought our 2000 BMW 323i. We love it, however, the back seat headrests obstruct my wife's over the shoulder view. I haven't figured out how to remove them. Please let me know how I could do that for her.
Thanks

On my 330 they simply pull out, they are rather tight so you need to pull up hard

Give them a good pop upwards when they're at the end of their travel, there's a little spring-clip that holds onto the end of the post inside the rear seat and you have to overcome that spring-clip.

P.S. that being said... the "over-the-shoulder" view isn't much different from the veiw in the rear-view mirror. (You've probably heard it a hundred times.. but ...) the blind-spot view is out the rear-door side window, not the back window.

If you have people who sit in the back seats often, I would leave them in. Actually a safety mechanism for getting rear-ended. ;)

That, or I misread my pediatric nursing book. :(

Like another poster said leave them in there if you have passengers in the back. Between both side mirrors and rear view mirror you should know what's going on around you. Adjust your side mirrors such that they reflect what's immediately behind you on either side. When you look into the mirrors you should not see much of the road behind you nor cars unless they're around your rear bumper.
