98 318i Engine mods?

I have a 98 318i and im looking for some engine mods i can do to get more torque and more hp from the engine, i just ran a cold air intake and i did notice a little difference, deffinatly the sound was worth it lol and im thinking about getting a chip. anyone done this yet? price range? where to buy? wat kind? also im going to run exhaust this weekend, any ideas regaurding that as well? Thanks!

You can spend tons of cash on mods and you won't get more than 5 hp from them. You really have two choices. Get a turbo charger or do an engine swap.

Ok one other choice...sell it and get one with a 6 cylinder. Nothing else is going to get any real gains in hp
