VIN history at BMW

Hi all,

The 740iL sport has 1 owner, low miles and all service at the same dealership. Due to some privacy issues I cannot access the electronic service records by previous owner. Carfax says it was serviced but I have no idea what for. Any idea how to "pirate" my car records?

Dealership provided me all the PO's service records after I provided the cars DMV registration under my name. No charge.

Ah, when you said 'previous owner', I thought you had purchased the car. I would think he would be willing to get this info for you, or anyone interested in the car.

I ran in to the same issue, but the curernt owner requested them (at my request) and handed them to me. Is that not an option?

I suggest you ask PO. Most people do not mind because their name would not appear.
