Title pretty much states it all.

The gauges in my 5/92 325is have bit the big one. The gas gauge was "shorting" out and died this weekend. Then the temp sensor pegged. Then last night all of the gauges went to zero :(

From what I've read, I need a new set of gauges.

So, what years and "models" should I be looking for? Will any three series work? Or do I need to keep an eye out for 325s? What about years? Do I need to restrict myself to the mid 92 and earlier?

Any help would be greatly appreciated since I'm sick of watching my speed by GPS:eek:

Just get a 6 cylinder , OBD1 cluster and it should work :)

You should be able to use any six cylinder e36 one. I have the original computer in my 92 325 and I've got a 98 M cluster that came out of the same M3 as my motor...everything works...all the lights and gauges.

How many miles on your car. Ive got a 93 325 with a good cluster. 210k on it. PM me if you want it.

By the question on the mileage, does that mean the odometer is linked to the gauge cluster?

FWIW, the car has right at 290k:eek:

The mileage display depends on the cluster, not the car. Your mileage will read whatever the car had that the cluster was removed from.
