Not a good day at the alignment shop!

Took my car to get aligned and have new tires put on today. Everything went great untill they took off the rear wheel and my m-par has a 3 inch crack right at the lip on the back side. They would not put a tire on it so I am riding on my spare.

Where is the best place to look for a single replacement?

take it to a professional wheel re-finisher... they can repair it..

Any idea what caused it? Was it OE or aftermarket. Try E-Bay or one of the BMW suppilers.

I have no idea how or when it happened.

This was the first time I had the rear wheels off since I bought the car.

There is a good wheel shop here where I live so I am gonna take out there first and see if they can fix it.

Try Scuba Steve on eBay. He often has them. I don't see it listed now but it is worth to ask. Pricing may be close to repair+refinish.

Found a shop locally that fixed it today fo $80. Better than buying a new one!
