P1358 code

149,xxx miles 2001 BMW 740il
Black on black beauty with attitude

CEL flashing. Read code of 1358. Figured just to change with new Bremi coil at the 6 cylinder instead of doing the swap and to change the 8 spark plugs. When I exchange the coil it was a diffrent brand called Pulse. The other were Bremi's.

After install, she ran pretty well and thought problem was over but CEL engine light came on again after about 200 miles. Same rough acceleration and car shake at idle.

Do you still get the same code? The list I have shows P1358 a cylinder 9 misfire (V12's) Did you have oil pooling in the plug wells? I would clear the old code if you have not and see what code returns. Maybe check for a vacuum leak. This car does not like aftermarket products in the engine compartment either.

My issue was a bad fuel injector at that cylinder hope that helps
