I work for a large automotive group that includes VW. I checked to see what the dealers cost was for that MAF. It's $140. I asked the Parts Manager why a place like autohaus could sell it for $70. He said VW sells about 10% of it's parts to after market warehouses for far less than they sell to their own dealerships. He said they lost a great deal of business when they started doing this some years back. I will check with him Monday to see if that have changed.
