Thanks to www.pro-imports.com for hosting them (hey, gotta plug them :stickoutt)
It seems I gained around 25 rwhp with the port and polish and CAI. I believe AA's CAI is supposed to give around 5-7 b/c of where it is located. The pnp gave me around 15-20 perhaps. I am running Omer's headgasket setup, raceware head stud kit, 3 angle pnp, ceramic coated the intake manifold, M50 manifold, 5 Bar porsche fpr, MKIV supra TT fuel pump, injectors that were blueprinted, blah blah, and flowtested at 55#, AA's low-level CAI, S54 Mcoupe radiator, etc ... etc... yeah, this stuff was just done in December, lol ... :)
Look at how smooth everything is ... Karl ROCKS! Tuning is EVERYTHING on these cars ... you can have the best hardware; but, no tuning, and you'll end up with problems. You should have heard the CAI sucking in air .. kind of a cool sound!
http://www.pro-imports.com/gallery/album02/dyno_cha1 (this was the third run)
http://www.pro-imports.com/gallery/album02/dyno_cha2 (this was the second run -- although the time is later than the third run, I ran back inside and asked him to print out the second run to compare -- just for those that are detail-oriented :) )
This was done at 7 psi ... I'm pretty damn rich at 10:1 and dropping down to 9.7:1 ... So, I should be able to run 13 lbs of boost no problems.
But ... yes, for those wondering ... car is SOLD :bawl ... and the new owner should be flying in to pick it up by next friday.
So, show me what you have for sale ... b/c I am looking right now. I missed out on a great E46 M3 2001 by a couple of days ... so, the hunt is back on.
p.s. -- have a great 3 day weekend guys!
