I just got my BBS RC 18x8.5 with Pirelli 225/40/18 tires. I am having some inner tire wall rubbing. My suspension is the Ground Control Track / DE coilover and is pretty well dropped. It is very obvious that I need some spacers. anybody else have this problem? What size spacers do I need? Will 5mm do the trick? 10mm perhaps?

Also, I wore a 1/32nd of an inch into the side of the new tires. The driver's side was worse at 3/64ths. Are these rubs on the side walls a cause for concern?

Anybody with some good feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank in advance.

What is the offset on your wheels? I would venture to say a 10mm spacer would be best.

Here are some pics for the subject. Note the pic with the scoring on the inside of the tire.

I'm running a H&R 10mm spacer to clear my KW coilovers with 225/40/18 so3s and a 34 offset i believe.

My offset is 38. Will 10mm be okay?
