Since purchasing my 2007 BMW X5 (back in March 2011) we have not been able to get a DVD to play in the RES. We double checked the DVD's we were inserting into the system were not BluRay discs, had no scratches on them and ensured they played in our in-home DVD player as well, but they still came back with an error message stating "can not read DVD"? :mad The DVD's work, so I don't get why the stupid RES DVD player can't read them?
Has anyone else encounter this error, and if so, what is the fix?
