Hey guys,

I am considering getting stock m3 brakes on my E36. In my mind this would require M3 brakerdiscs and calipers, but when im looking for parts on a webshop, they dont seem to agree with me, or maybe they are just trying to idiot proof thier customers.

Would i be right in thinking that all i need is discs and calipers or do i need more?

Not to sure about a 320I but here is a good example of what you need.

320i is identical to the 325i.

Looks like i just need Discs and calipers and then i should be able to go from 286mm to 315mm since i already run 17" wheels there should not be an issue here.

no, for the front it says you need everything from wheel bearings and out, meaning you need M3 wheel bearings, front hub assembly, spindles.

Yes I just did this and what you need is:
L+R Front spindles (knuckles), calipers, rotors and pads....and you are good to go.

The front wheel bearing/hub assembly is identical on the M3, 328, 325, 323, 320, and 318.

Thanks for the correction, but it is always nice to replace them anyways lol
