Valve cover wont stop leaking

Ive replaced my valve cover 3 times. The first two times I followed all directions for the rtv and torque specs. The 3rd time I put rtv all around the edge as well as on the outside perimeter of the gasket. The oil still found a way around and my headers are still gettig wet with from the oil. What could the problem be?

Is the valve cover cracked?

sounds like the valve cover itself is cracked/warped. Are you using new rubber grommets for the bolts?

I couldnt see a crack anywhere. And yes I used new grommets. Apparently you cant buy a new cover, so Ill have to keep my eye out for a used one.

Did you clean the mating surfaces properly?
