Hey guys i am proud to say that my wife and i have a bought her a '04 Mini Cooper S. OMG it is amazing. this car is so much fun. im sure you know this but i jus want to let you know theres one more Mini fan in the world now. I have so many Questions. Oh BTW my wife already smoked an '04 Civic SI Hatch and she gave him a 2 car head start. she's so cruel. and i love her.

After i bought it and took it home i noticed it had a Dinan CAI. so that was awsome. but the other day when i take off the cover to see what it looks like theres a foam filter with the letters "ITG" on it. What is that? Is it really Dinan?
And i also noticed that it had an aftermarket exhaust. it looks nothing like the aftermarkets that ive seen for sale on websites but it sounds low and deep. no ricer sound. how can i tell what brand it is?
Finally I have to say Ive always dreamed of hearing a supercharger wining from my engine bay. My dream came true and I am in love it.

Welcome aboard! As I recall, Dinan doesn't make filters, only the boxes, so don't worry about that. Exhaust makers typically stamp their name somewhere on their units. Usually the exhaust tips, but if it isn't there, I'd check under the car. It could be custom made, in which case there'd be no markings. I recommend doing the underdrive pully next. It will probably be my one and only mod.
