I just got 245/45/18 tires in the rear of BMW m3 e36 and they rub on the inner lip of the fender whenever I hit a bump. Any ideas how to fix this without coil overs

Or you could get the right profile tire for your car... :confused
Which is 245/35/18. With a 45 profile you'll be riding noticeably higher and you'll be slower.

I know it's the wrong profile but I was seeing if there could be a solution until I got the right ones... Not sure if I could raise the rear suspension up 3/4 of an inch

Seconded on getting the right profile tires.
For a temporary solution, can you add an OE spring pad, or use a thicker OE spring pad? I did this as a temporary 1/2" rear lift when I had e30s.
You can also get little hard rubber spacers that keep your spring coils open. I'm not saying I recommend them, but they exist. See below:

if its rubbing on the inside lip, how does adding spacers going to fix that??? U need to just roll ur fenders, im in the process in doing that. Theres this tool..no not a baseball bat.. that will roll them with no problem. If ur rubbing near the strut then u need spacer.

Yea I'm not sure how the spacers work but I can't see if I use those how it would stop rubbing on the inner lip... Thought about renting the tool to roll them the right way... But for now I bought a coil springs lift kit for 15 bucks that gave me less then an inch lift... Not rubbing now... Make sure u heat the paint up when u roll that... Thanks for the advice peps

245/45/18 is too big a tire. I would give up on that one.
