Every time I start the car in the morning there is a slight shaking before the car stars to normally idle almost like the car is going to shut off, but it never does. I want to fix this but im not sure what the problem is. My guess would be spark plugs as I havent changed them since i bought the car about 6 months or so ago. Or maybe even icv but i doubt that. Can anyone help?

If im guessing right the car has a rough idle for a bit before running smoothly? Mine does that too. All i do to stop it is put my foot on the gas in neutral at 2000rpms and it smooths out. I dont know what the cause is but its not a big deal.

I'd start with, at least cleaning of your spark plugs( replace them) get an oil change with synthetic oil (my plugs where caked with carbon debris from leaky valve guide seals and most likely crappy oil and lake of changing, from the previous owner) then like my car get all your vacuum lines checked for leaks (replace them all). My girls mom's car had plug wires that were cracked and bare causing misfires ( hp loss), might need new wires. Clean off distributor cap ( replace it). Not sure if you clean out your idle regulator if so spray it out (can this be sprayed out?) If you find a cheap site for wires, cap, and vacuum line kit please post it. Thanks. Good luck.
PS will adjusting your manual idle speed cables help?

Bad plugs or aged ignition wires distributor cap or rotor are possibilities, but intake leaks are the most likely cause of this. Have a smoke test run in the intake & crank case.

If the intake is the problem, what would be the fix?
