Thought i post this for some comic relief :)

"Hooooowdy! Putting my tractor up for sale since i have bought a car. It's a uncut bmw 520i with (straight 6) with a garett47 turbo, runs really swell and has great milagel! Welded and covered rear wall. Bed under the roof, no back window. (must be inspected without rear window) diamondplate covered bed and it's drained.

* please observe that the pictures is in poor quality and is taken before fenders, hood and doors was replaced *

The thing is that it failed inspection and what's left to fix on it is to sort out the lock on the forward gearbox and tighten up the hand brake other than that it's done and i will see if i can't fix it and re inspect it but then the price will go up. It's darn nice in engine and gearbox and it has a clean interior with a wood steering wheel and wood shift surround and a sunroof allthough the handle to it is missing. Heated seats and all lights and gauges are working. A whole bunch of tires is included however only 2 17" steelies.

The paint is deecent and there's not much rust either! It has the uncut feature in the paperwork so it doesn't have dodgy papers!

If you pay extra you can have it with a soundsystem

2x10 " 350 rms
and a 800 w amp, not even broken in

Or trade for car or smowmobile. NOTICE! NO MOPEDS! "

The price of this gem? Almost free! Only $4 218,70

The background info about theese kinds of vihecles is that during WWII there was a shortage of machines for keeping the farms going so you could go behind the barn and modify your old truck or ford model a into a tractor and have it registerd as a tractor and drive it on the road legal.

During the 60s kids discovered that if you hold a type A liscense you can drive a tractor. And the old style EPA tractors would do well over 50mph with a modern high rev engine. The A Card is a written test. Not that hard to pass. And this is the only option if you want to drive and sit in a cabin and you're under the tender age of 18.

In the early 80s the old EPAs was outlawed . (Could not have any rear suspension and whatnot so they were quite dangerous) They were relaced wiht A Tractors (shown above) that's more like a normal car. Limited to 30KM/H (19mph) though.

For a limited time there was a loophole in the law allowing for uncut A tractors .. It's now been filled so they become quite expensive.

Basicly this is our Ricers.. Just as annoying with the same taste in styling. Just a clog in the artery of the road system.. :shifty

Do they somehow limit the car to 19mph, or are you only allowed to drive that fast?

In the USA you can drive any vehicle of any kind with no license or insurance so long as it has that same warning triangle and is incapable of exceeding 25mph (that rules out all cars).

Limited.. Two gearboxes..

Gotta be insured. And you have to have a license..

Some mess about with them so they can go faster but.. Get caught and it's you got caught in a TT wo a licesnce and you must re register the tractor..

Mostly kids into them.. So the quality of work varies.. I've seen spackle layers soo deep they were screwded onto the bodyshell with wood screws :lol
