Just checking to see if anyone is interested. Found a set in a local yard here in Japan and wanted to see if they are sought out by you guys like they are by the e30 crowd.
Will probably hit the yard next weekend if anyone interested. Yen rate sucks though, but will try to get a deal from owner.

It's kind of you to think of your E24 brethren but I do not believe there is any such thing as a Euro vs anywhere else grill and that the same part (left & right) was used in all model iterations. They're pretty easy to source here cheap.....I have an extra set for example.
You're absolutely right about the Yen (and just about everything else in Japan) being ludicrously overpriced. It costs me more to truck a 450 kg ice rink scraping machine from Tokyo Narita airport the 240 km's to door Nagano Prefecture than it does to fly the damn thing all the way from Toronto to Narita.

Oh, but the part you posted was for the center grille, not the headlight grilles which I've seen posted here on the e24 for around $150 obo.
Just looking out for US Bimmerphiles, that didn't get all the ROW bits.

But I think his point stands - all E24 grills are the same, 76-89, US and row.

Maybe he's talking about headlight wipers? :dunno

The US grills have the wiper cutouts scribed, you just have to cut them out.

What part of Japan are you in? Must be rare to see a E24 in a Japanese scrap yard. I really miss living in Tokyo :( My 6-Series filled the hole in my heart when I left Japan…boohoo….hahaha…hehehe :evil2

Ah, so not so much that you've found "euro grills", but you've found a headlight wiper setup.
That should be worth it to someone.
