what is this leak?(purple fluid))

Hey guys i was wandering what kinda leak im looking at here?
transmission fluid?

Probably Power Steering. It uses ATF but the Power Steering is much more likely to leak than the tranny. The only other fluid you have that could leak is Brake Fluid and that's definately not colored purple and coolant but that probably isn't colored purple either.

Yeah, what he said. PS fluid (or ATFwhich is a deep red color) leak fm hose, resevoir or pump.

okay true. i know its not coolant cuz thats the leak to the right(yellow) lol
it must be power steering i hope its just the hose! grrr

yeah, PS. check your fluid level too.

Check the bellows boots on your steering rack. Squeeze them and see if there's any fluid inside. Even if you find hoses or other PS items leaking you could still have a seal in the steering rack leaking. Lots of times the bellows boots fill up with fluid before it leaks out onto the ground.
