have an opportunity to buy a 1992 325i 5 speed coupe with m3 bumpers that was in a small accident were my freind hit a fire hydrant with the front passenger side and the body shop told him it was totaled because the suspension and sub frame were bent so he offered to sell me the whole car for $325 and I'm wondering if it would be worth trying to part out or repair since it still runs fine and has newer wheels and tires and such, any advice would be great,

I'd say for $325 it would be worth it to part out. I wouldn't bother trying to repair it.

Well one thing you'd want to make sure of is whether or not the mounting points for the subframe have been moved. You'll need to know how to measure that. If they have, you'll need to have the frame pulled back into square. Unfortunately people with knowledge and skill to run a frame machine efficiently are few and far between.
Replacing the subframe and suspension is relatively easy if that's all that's wrong. You just need to support the engine from above while you're doing it. It's probably worth the 325 one way or the other.

I've built frames for classic cars from scratch before so I know basically what I'm doing, but I'll have to wait a few days before it arrives at my house to really look it over but I'll probly part it out since I have a 93 sedan that's already my dd
