wheel fitment help?

Hello,

I'm new to this forum and need help on wheel fitment. I have a friend who has a '96 318ic with 16in rims and he wants to buy my aftermarket rims that was used on a 328i. The rims are RIAL Salerno 16x7 et30 5x120, but I don't know what the oem offset his current vehicle has or uses. The car is not close to me to swap and try to test if there will be any clearance issues. Does anyone here in this forum have a '96 318ic and know what the default offset is and will my rims will work for his car?

Factory offset is about 40, but thats with a 7.5 wheel.
Being a 7" wheel et30 is about the same.
For future reference all E36 cars can fit the same wheels (M3s just have larger brakes).
