NCS EXPERT Best Error

I have a 2008 Mini Cooper S R56

I have followed the directions from "NCSEXPERT for beginners" thread over at http://www.northamericanmotoring.com...beginners.html

I have been able to successfully enable Comfort closing (KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_FB) and have the digital speed always on (DIG_SPEED_PERMANENT). I am trying to enable the blinking alarm light but have unsuccessful. I could add the value in KOMBI but not in SPEG. Every time I try to read the SPEG ECU, I get the infamous BEST error.

Install EDIABAS 7.2.0

Found the new BMW Standard Tools 2.10 with EDIABAS 7.2 here (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1665384)

Uninstalled the older BMW Standard tools first installed the new version and followed the same instructions from the original PDF but using Datens V41 I found from a torrent.
Got it working!
