Apon closer inspection, my car also has an Ate-booster which looks to be original, is it safe to say that my car is an Ate car for the brakes?

I was under the impression that my model year of car was suppose to be all Girling?, the only reason is that I'd like to swap to all rebuilt Ate-caliper's w/metal guide bushing's and Metal Master pads. Brake system is old but, works just fine, would just like to upgrade a little bit.

Can anyone shed a little light on the subject? Can I just swap over to all Ate-caliper's? The car has Turner SS-line's installed already if that helps at all.

Any info. would be great, thanks in advance. vibrant

Whether a car has ATE or Girling front brakes depends on where the car was built. I don't know what determines whether the car has Girling or ATE MC & booster. You can swap the front brakes from ATE or Girling to the other as desired.

All you need to switch the ATE calipers is the appropriate bracket.
