I recently got new front tires, I have a 2005 325i. They put p205/55r16 91 T D tires on the front. Now when I drive it's a lot more "loose" where as before, it was a much "tighter" feel. The tires don't seem as wide to me, would this have an effect on the driving feeling? Is it ok to have this size tires on there, it won't hurt anything?

Did you change sizes? Did you go from an ultra high performance tire down to a T rated tire? What kind of tire did you have before the tire swap? Need just a little more info before we can give too much advice.

"They put p205/55r16 T D tires on the front."
Let me guess, your input was probably limited to something like "I don't want to spend a ton of money on tires."

No, actually my dad got them for me and we don't have tons of money. I just checked, the 205s are also on the back, so they put the right size on. I also got a 4 wheel alignment. Could that cause it? A tight drive is how it's supposed to be right? That's how it's always been but now its more loose.

Rotate the new tires to the rear. You'll get much, much better traction that way and you'll be a lot safer in hydroplaning situations. I honestly cannot believe the tire shop would mount them on the front, it's industry standard to always put new tires on the rear.

It still all depends on what kind of tires they installed. I'm assuming from what I've read thus far is you probably ended up getting the least expensive option the tire shop offered. If you had a decent H or V rated tire and they dropped you down to a no name S or T rated tire then yeah, it could feel like you're driving on jello. The higher the performance rating, the stiffer the sidewall and the more "performance" oriented the tire is. So drop the performance rating and put a cheap tire on and you pretty much get what you pay for. So like what was said before a few posts up, rotate the new ones to the rear and see if that fixes your issue. And I agree with the fact also that the best tread should be on the rear axle.
