After about a half hour of searching here's my question.

I have 18x8 ASA GT5's in the front (+40 offset) and 18x9 in the rear (+45 offset).
I'm wondering what the best staggered tire combo would be for looks and preformance. I was think 235/35 in the front and 265/35 in the rear.. Would this fit? I can roll the rear fenders and my car IS lowered on H&R coilovers.

Please help!

It has been done. Do a search on 265 and there are a few running them but they require fender work and with your offset you might need some spacers. It also depends on the brand of tire you use. All 265 tires are not the same size.

Fender work beyond a basic roll and possibly a slight pull? And I was going to go with dunlops.

You must likely will need a pull also.

Best staggered setup for performance? probably a square one ;) Yeah, that would be your best staggered setup for performance.

When you say dunlops, do you mean star specs? If so... a major roll should be required in the rear because of how wide these tires are.

thats a solid amount of tire out back without at least a roll...
pm me when you need to rent my fender roller (i'm local to you)

The rolling diameter is over 3% difference between them, that may be a problem.
I would put 255/35 on the back and 225/40 up front. You may still have to roll the back fenders, with it being lowered, just to allow for the articulation- but either way no big deal...

It should fit but you're probably going to need the roll the fenders a little. why such big tires?

The 265 is going to be 2.5% taller than the OE tire.

255's are difficult enough to fit without any rubbing, 265's are going to be a nightmare. also, they won't look as good as 255's on a 9" wheel.

If I were you, I would go 245's all around... or a 225/40-255/35 stagger, which may still take some work.

I have the 255 in back and 225 in front on 8 & 9" rims. The rear is rolled out a bit because its lowered. The tires look perfect on the rims and runs nice.
I agree with lithium, the 265 would be a pain...

+1, yeah 255's are as wide as you can go, unless you have a stock suspension (or similar ride height) and keep the tires completely out of the wheel wells. I have just the exact offset (40mm) wheels and they were rubbing just a little on the inside, and just a little on the outside in the rears. I pulled the fenders just a little on the rear, and hammered the wheel well in just a little too. I am running H&R race springs so it's pretty low though.

245's are easier, but 255's are possible. Here's the link to my build with pictures:

What kind of wheels are you running....complete specs please, I'm local(atlanta) and I'm looking for the right wheel tire combo, I have had my fenders rolled and pulled already...thanks in advance

I run 255's on all 4 corners on 17's. Here's my tire fitment thread. Depending on the ride height, you can get more tire under the car...

You will have to inward stretch a little. i used 18x8.5 or 9, i cant remember, but with a 35 offset.
but it hooks like no other. when the tires get warmed up it takes a lot to break them loose.
and to fit them up front it took me a 20mm spacer

If any of yall wanna come take a look at it i will show you.
but i will take some more pics tomorrow of better angles

Ps, I'm running Yokohama advan 280/650-18 slicks.
