Should one wait for the 15, 000 miles service or rotate tires at 7, 500 miles?
My understanding is that BMW does not require rotating tires.

Depends on what F10 package you have. Mine is a 550 sport where the rears are different widths than the fronts and they are unidirectional.

+1, my rear tires are also larger and fronts and back are directional thus cant be rotated. On my company car, I still do it every 7500-10000 miles.

I switched to Michelin Supersport OEM size.
The runflats suck, huge improvement and the SS are not that quiet and confy, if you go PS2 probably even bigger difference but I wanted the better summer performance. The runflats we save for when it time to sell :-)

Obviously you don't want to rotate a staggered set-up.
BMW does not recommend rotating tires.
If you have non-staggered, I'd rotate them twice a year.

BMW doesn't recommend rotating because of the sudden change in handling characteristics. Since I don't push that hard, I don't care. :)

Should have bought the 535 or 550 so you could push it harder. :stickoutt
