That's really unfortunate, esp. for a Euro. At least the project seems to have been aborted midway through... Maybe someone can rescue it?

Really annoys me when people ruin a car like that, then give up halfway. should be a punishment for that.

Yeah, lots of potential here.

Swap that 3spd out for a standard and repaint it.

Hell that's 1K in prep work already done!

Just undo the Lug BS and sell some E92 person those wheels! You could buy Alpinas for what you get for them! and have enough to source a good tranny.

On a side note, though, looks like the car is still workable assuming that everything is actually there. If it were local to me, I'd check it out and get an epoxy coat on it ASAP. Slushboxes can be replaced with manuals for reasonable pricing.

Alex you and Dave are smoking crack, I bet you it is hamfisted beyond recognition. Beat them up for car at $2k, paint $3k, 20hrs to undo boy racer crap, $500-$1200 for quality trans, $1000 for shit that should have been done before stripping the car $800:ninja

Kind of boy racer-ish, but doesn't look too bad painted body color.


Can't stand those rims on an E24, or for that matter any car, including the E46 and E92 M3's.
