Anyone experience an annoying whistling sounds heard in the cabin of the series when driving? I have complained to the dealer and they claim that it's normal because they hear from the other cars. Anyone managed to get it fixed?

Who has installed AC Schnizter springs? I'm looking for a good performance place in SoCal.

Sounds like I have to take it back (to a different service dealer) because it's gotten louder since they reprogrammed my car after a new headlight control system.

I am going to say that this car will be a love hate relationship, it does have some problems and it really should not, but once you get the bugs worked out, it is the most enjoyable car to drive, power, luxary, style and performance. One heck of a package.

I just found out from another dealer that there's a bullentin out for the abnormal, whistling sound from the cabin. They must replace a seal from a part in the transmission to solve that issue.

I had whistling sound with my 2011 535 from day one. Mostly when u shut off engine there was a "squeal". Took them a while but dealer figured out it was the transmission seal. (also per bulletin). Took them three days to replace. Problem solved.

The first dealer tried to tell me that it was "normal". How can this annoying squeal be normal? I called around and found another dealer who knew about that issue and offered to fix, so I'm taking it in on Tuesday.

The dealer says they can't duplicate the whistling sounds and so I went to do a road test with the shop foreman and couldn't reproduce the issue either. Don't you hate it when that happens? Anyway I was able to show him a different issue; a transmission whinning noise at gear changes when driving on side streets after freeway speeds. It's almost like the interference noise you hear from the engine if a car stereo wasn't installed properly. They are also going to fix the pulling to right issue.
