When I turn on the headlights in our 96 328is, sometimes the low beams don't work. Sometimes they turn off by themselves, and I have to flick the switch on and off to get the low beams to turn on. The fogs, signal markers, and high beams all work.

What's the culprit? Low beam relay or headlight switch? I'm guessing it's the relay. I took it out then put it back in a few times and it seems to be working. Maybe it's just loose? Should I replace they relay? If so, can I get this relay from any autoparts store or is it a BMW only part? Thanks for any insight. Preliminary thanks to flyfishvt!
