I have an airbag tool that works for most BMWs from 1994 to 2002. Some issues from 2000 and later models, but works great for the E36.

Tool rental is $25 shipped plus a $130 refundable deposit.

You can rent it for 2 weeks. After that, a $5 week late charge will be deducted form you deposit.

Insurance and tracking is recommended on return shipment.

Which one of those three do you have? Only the first one and the last one will work on OBDI cars.
