hi, im thinking about starting a new project car to fix and sell quick
i was going to buy a 1995 m3 with 104k miles on the car and engine.
its in pretty mint condition
about how much could i sell this car for??
and lets say i swap a brand new stock engine, tranny,
turn the interior into show room condition and install a 2,000 sound system in
about how much could i get for the car then??

if you have to ask, you're not ready for this project. and installing a 2K stereo will take 2K off the price of the car. original = $.

agreed, and plus youll have to find the right buyer for the sound system, evey other guy/girl will not feel the 2k sound system is a reason to add 2k to the car.....

yeah your going to have to do alot to make it mint. and finding the right buyer isnt easy. puting that 2k stereo money into the suspension or exhaust will get you more out then a damn stereo.

yes it does... dont waste your time on a sound system or buying a new motor, just freshen up the motor and use the money for cleaning the car up and making it "like new"

So you're going to take a perfectly good engine, rip it out, install another one from a different car that nobody knows the real history of, then you're going to do the same to the tranny?
