This is just such a long time coming, I'm sure many of you have been in a similar situation. I bought my 95 M3 over 8 years ago. A friend moneyshifted it a few months later, I had not the time nor means to fix it so bought a motor from Bimmerworld and paid a shop to do the S52 swap. 8k later I was good.... for a couple years. Water pump locked up, head blew/cracked. Repaired and better than ever, was going to supercharge it:

Only to find the bottom-end/rings going. I knew if I was going to fix it I was going to build it properly, been the other route before, not worth it. So it's sat for the last 1.5hr and barely driven the past 3. $10-12k would get me where I wanted to be, but I knew that getting a newer bimmer with everything already done would make me much happier.

So after putting my e36 M3 up forsale, then changing my mind, then trying to sell again, and changing my mind, I finally sold it the other week. 2 days later, I picked up my new ride.

The car was stock up until the previous owner had AA do the full lot. FMIC, Exhaust, Downpipes, Meth, DCI, and BOV.

I did oil this weekend and brakes this coming week. Never been so happy to do regular maintenance and just drive it..... :redspot

Your car does Meth? That's a helluva drug.

Wow you really like to blow your money. A used head and installation shouldn't have cost more than $2000, but you spent $8,000 on a S52, lol.

Not yet, just some crappy one's the previous owner took. I need to clean it up and take some good ones.... Same with more pics of the exterior. And you know honestly, I'm not sure if my interior is technically saddle brown? It's not the tan... nor the black. Or the red. It's a brownish color. Nevertheless what its called, its the color I wanted. :)

I paid 23k. It had 69k miles, but all services have been done by BMW.

That it is.... H&R springs. It had a lip on the front but I already removed it. Already needed to be repainted cuz it was soooooo low.

The wife would destroy it in a week driving it.

Are these just lowering springs only? How much drop do they provide? Did you need to replace shocks? What about an alignment. Seems like a big drop if nothing else done. Nice ride!

Stock shocks, just H&R springs as far as I know. I'm sure the shocks will need to be replaced in time. But honestly the ride is worlds better than my E36 was, even given the height. Trear wear on tires (replaced with new Toyos this week) was meh but not too bad. Car drives straight w/o any balance issues too.
