This is just such a long time coming, I'm sure many of you have been in a similar situation. I bought my 95 M3 over 8 years ago. A friend moneyshifted it a few months later, I had not the time nor means to fix it so bought a motor from Bimmerworld and paid a shop to do the S52 swap. 8k later I was good.... for a couple years. Water pump locked up, head blew/cracked. Repaired and better than ever, was going to supercharge it:

Only to find the bottom-end/rings going. I knew if I was going to fix it I was going to build it properly, been the other route before, not worth it. So it's sat for the last 1.5hr and barely driven the past 3. $10-12k would get me where I wanted to be, but I knew that getting a newer bimmer with everything already done would make me much happier.
So after putting my e36 M3 up forsale, then changing my mind, then trying to sell again, and changing my mind, I finally sold it the other week. 2 days later, I picked up my new ride.
The car was stock up until the previous owner had AA do the full lot. FMIC, Exhaust, Downpipes, Meth, DCI, and BOV.
I did oil this weekend and brakes this coming week. Never been so happy to do regular maintenance and just drive it..... :redspot
