View Full Version : Replacement power antenna

Got the factory radio working :) but then i found out the antenna doesnt :( . I want to replace it with a new one since the one on there is probably the original. Who makes oem or very good replacement antennas for my car? Also, has anyone put a non-powered antenna on their shark? What is the opinion on doing that instead of replacing it with another powered one?

I replaced mine, got it from E-bay for around $25 bucks. Came with motor and all fixtures, it worked just fine. Yes you can put a manual one too if you like. My next project is to Eliminate the need for antenna in the back and put a booster that no antenna is needed.:)

What is wrong with yours? They can quite often be fixed.

I have the same problem... got to look at it soon. I hear the litter motor working but nothing is happening. The actual antenna sucks and needs to be replace... gonna try and save the motor. Where can I get an antenna?

I purchased a replacement mast only from eBay, around 20 dollars new. 5 minute job to fit it into the existing motor/housing.
