How to remove M Tech Steering Wheel?

I can't seem to remove my mtech steering wheel.. after removing the nut, its stuck, can't figure out why it just won't pop off... are the splines messed up or is there a secret connection somewhere???

The secret special removal tool is your ignition key. Put it in and turn it untill the lock disengages and the wheel pulls off.

If you do have the key in and it will still not come off, sometimes they have been on there so long they get kinda stuck. It will seem like something else is holding it on. Ive had this happen, you just have to work it side to side and it will start to loosen up.

How do you remove an mtech steering wheel without the key.. this one has the ignition key latch holding steering wheel on?? seems like you must break ignition altogether..

The lock is at 12oclock, it engages when you lock up the wheel, it's probably 1/2inch high and really won't allow the wheel to come off. I pulled hard and bent the wheel metal guard enough to get it off, and then hammered it back when I did a junker to get one off. Don't let the whel grind back and forth as it will cause damage to the fine teeth.
