Cooper 05 not turning on

Hi to all, it looks like everytime that i post something here is for fixing my cooper but unfortunately everything at this moment is shooting at the same time, definately my cooper is driving me crazy, now I'm having another issue that I really don't know how to address. Early in the morning when my wife tried to start up the engine nothing happened, when I came from work I tried to start up the engine and the wearest thing is happening, it makes the noise from the starter trying to start up, all the interior and exterior lights works properly, the alarm as well and finally the battery has the green light which means that the battery is ok. I'm assuming that it should be an electrical issue but coming from where? Does anyone knows whats triggering this problem?

Have you checked the starter? Does it sound like a loud buzzing noise when you crank the key?

Sounds like a loose or bad starter from the symptoms you described.

I had the same problem. I disconnected my battery, cleaned all the nuts, put the battery back in and it was fixed. Apparently I wasn't getting enough voltage through the corroded nuts
