Were used less than 5k miles on my 1988 635CSi.
Parting out the whole car, got a thread floating around but been slacking.

All 4 shocks, 4 springs, and front KMAC plates, and rear off-center bearings. Will need new (or used) dust covers for the front shocks.

$750 shipped.

If you need other small parts it'd be a good time to save on shipping. Might even throw them in for free depending on what they are.

Would you split up the shocks from the other parts? I have springs and camber plates but I need some Bilstein Sports...

I'd rather not, but if someone wants the rest then we could work something out.

Ian, I may know a guy locally who is selling some bilstein Sports.

He had them in his 535is, then drove a couple months and got KYB.

Not to detract from Lavalamps post. ;)

How much lower are the Vogtland springs than stock? I might be interested.

1.2" from what I've found.
Someone buy these, I have medical bills to pay :(

I'll take the front shocks if anyone is interested in grabbing the rears...

$700 shipped. Where can you find a better deal than that?

I'll buy the rears. I just need part# to verify fit for 84 M635. How much?

Ok, looks like there is almost enough interest to part this out...I would go for all the springs if the other guys want the shocks. I think that the deal is awesome altogether, as the camber plates alone are half the asking price! KMAC plates, anyone?

Finally got around to taking the fronts apart (had a little trouble, see pictures) and took pictures. I didn't have the heart to take the rears apart, they just look so good. I'd really like to sell this as a set. It's truly a great deal, the KMAC front plates cost $300 new and the KMAC rear bearings cost $300 as well.
And did I mention it comes with practically new rear shock mounts?

I do have the other top plate for the KMACs, it's just somewhere in my garage under some under parts.

As you can see, the top spring perches on the front are still attached. I believe when the KMACs got tightened down it squished the metal making the opening hole smaller and now won't slide off. So I just had to take it apart sort of backwards and can be put back together the same way.

All the spring pads are practically new as well since they were replaced at the same time. The rear bearings are not pictured as they are still on the car.
