how do you know if your radio has an anti-theft code or not?

Undo negative battery terminal.

Wait 1 min

Reconnect terminal.

Turn on radio.

Does it prompt you for a CODE?

Also there should be a flashing Red Light.

All of my OEM radio's have ANTI THEFT written on them.

I don't like them and just had a HUGE pain issue with my Z3 radio, Dealer couldn't find the correct code. Had to use some connections and email several folks in Germany and it took over 2wks.

Ok I have had the battery disconnected for longer than a minute several times, and no code, great!!
