I am currently running 255/45/ZR18 all around, but I wanted to know what is the widest tires I can run for the rears? Maybe if I can even run a little wider upfront too.

What is your offset? I am buying 18's with 38mm offset, and I want to know the same question. My ride is a little lowered, just with H&R OE Sports, and Konis. I have a 95 M3 by the way.

You could go up to a 275 width, maybe even a 285 but that might be squeezing it.

will 255/35/18 go well with 18x9's?

Yep, works great. Thats what I run on the rear of my M3.

how low is your ride though? i have H&R sports, do you think i'll have rubbing issues? what size do you run for the front?

My ride heights are, (center of hub to fender)
rear- 12"
front- 13"
These are pretty conservative. Probabily about what your H&R sports ride at.
On the front, I have 18x8 et38 with 235/40-18's. But if I had another pair of 18x9's, I would run them all around with 255/35-18's.
What is the offset on your rear wheels? That is the key to fitting big rubber out back.
