As winter is a breeze away looking to remove my rim so they don't get messed up with the salt wondering what factory rims of other cars can I use, would appreciate the info thxs.

Older Coopers use a different lug nut length, so I wouldn't plan of having any of those fit easily. You could probably get a set of used 16 inch non-S wheels and be just fine. That is going to be your most cost effective option.

the newer mini uses a different bolt pitch then the old ones, but you can use mini wheels from 02-06 cooper s on your 08. just don't forget to transfer you tpm sensor from your other wheels to you new wheels. 16inch + for your car though.
