I have a 2009 Mini Cooper S JCW that needs the ULF2 module replaced. I found one on ebay (used unit) and am wondering if the unit will need to be configured/set up to operate properly. Or once installed will it be functional?
Any help and suggestions are appreciated.

What's ULF2 stand for?
If it's a non-coded module, should be a drop-in item.

The ULF module is the unit that controls the bluetooth and ipod connection to the car radio system. I'm not sure if its a non-coded module and as a 'user-type' (as opposed to a 'techy-type') not sure how to determine that.

Plan on it needed to be coded. As for taking a used one and being able to recode it??? That is iffy. Some modules can do it, and some can't you wouldn't know till you tried.

the ULF module will have to be coded to vehicle. What issues are you having with the one in your car now?
