INPA Error

Anyone help please?When I try to connect to engine on E46,I get this error.

Paul, close INPA the IFHSrv32 and the EDIABAS Server, then restart INPA and try again.

Doesn't that just mean that your ECU software and the INPA software are different versions?
You can get the error to go away by updating the ECU to the same version as your INPA, but I wouldn't worry about it when you're just reading things...
