No potholes, barely driven, got it 4 months ago. Brand new 2011 Z4.
Woke up this morning to find the right rear tire having no air. About 2 weeks ago they found 2 cracks in that same rim and said i drove into a pothole - absolutely no way possible EVER...i only drive the car to work 8 miles away on purely paved road AND its the rear rim with no damage to the tire whatsoever!
Got it fixed for $165 by BMW and (to be redundent) found it broken this morning! Called BMW and they basically told me to f myself...thanks BMW.
Does anyone know how to handle this as i will never buy another BMW again unless they settle this absurd issue for me. Im sure the rim is defective, AND its the rear one! No bubbles on the tire and no potholes.
I read on a few different forums that BMW rims have this issue all the time.
