BMW 540I 1995 Air Fan not blowing

AC has worked all summer -I had the windows down today...I tried to turn the ac on...Now the fan doesnt blow for the AC??
Any Ideas What is Wrong?:help

did you manually try and spin the fan? if so and its hard to spin its cause the fan is ceased. if it dose spin freely check your fuses in the engine compartment. most likely its just a fuse unless its ceased like i said before. if all fuses are good then it could be a relay. after u check the fuse's if they all good hopefully you have the Manuel to your vehicle if not invest in both manuals. there is a test you can do right at the male and female connector from inside the engine bay. it will test both the high and low fan speeds. but since your saying your not getting any power. i would say ceased or fuse. to do the check i said is very easy no more then five min to do it.

Look up "final stage unit" or "final stage resistor."

Both times my fan stopped working it was due to that piece. My symptoms though were intermittantly the fan wouldn't work.

sounds like the final stage. you may need to replace the blower motor as well but start with the final stage.

I agree with the final stage, i see those things fail all the time.
