2001 x5 aux fan replacement

Hi Guys, I'm stuck trying to replace my aux fan. Bumper is removed but I cannot figure out how to get the old fan out!! Any help is greatly appreciated

Pesky plastic rivets & you should be GTG. Check spaghetticoder.org for the tis if it is still kicking yer butt.

The fan has to be popped downward from the upper plastic clips and tabs. Lube the tabs when you go to put the new fan in. It snaps into place and takes a bit of effort.
