Good Afternoon Bimmerforums,
I had a question about wheels? I would like to know what is the widest I can go with 19" rims without having to roll the fenders on my 2003 530i. It is lowered on Sachs shocks and with Eibach Pro springs.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank You
Dave

you can go 9.5 wide with the rims and about 245 wide tire. You should still be in the safe zone.

I'm running a 10" wide rear with 275/35/19. On M-Tech shocks with Eibach Sportline Springs. I do have M5 wheel well liners fitted though with very little "occasional" rub on the outer tyre wall. :)

A lot depends on the width of the wheel and or tire you choose. The alignment also has something to do with how wide you can go. More negative camber and you can go wider on the tires. A 19X10 can fit with an offset of 20 mm or higher.
If I can help let me know.

M5 wheels? I don't have any style 65's dude. I have satin powdercoated style 66's though. If you're referring to the Hamann HM2's, they are indeed on eBay at the moment but I don't think they'll sell for the money I want for them so I guess I may end up keeping them for use on the E39 and possibly E36 in the future. :)
Back on topic, as Jim said, offset dictates what width wheel/tyre combo you can run. There is a slight flexibility afforded with spacers if you can use them, moreso with adjustment of camber. But you don't want MAJOR camber or the car looks desperately bad IMO.
