Being that I'm going to be busy prepping my car and what not, I figured I should start this before the meet on Sunday.

I'm definitely not a professional photographer, but I had a great time with all of you! These are pics demike535i (mike) and I took throughout our meet/drive. The drive pics were a bit difficult to capture as we were in the "spirited" driving group :devillook This is most obvious in the picture of M5 Touring, driving by Jed, who shall be known as Ken Block from here on out.

Awesome Pics!! Thanks for getting some of my car in there!
So the morning started out pretty bad for me.. Got stung by a bee first thing in the morning. Didn't get my morning coffee till Aquila brought it around noon. Then right before we headed out for the drive my center support bearing started clunking around so my car didn't get to go have fun. After all that said I still had a blast. Met some good guys, and it was good to see those that I met at bimmerfest. Thanks again to Aquila for planning this out. Good stuff, look forward to seeing more pics. We need to do something like this quarterly. The once a year bimmerfest is not enough.

Had a great time yesterday guys, definitely a must do again.

Special thanks for Mike and Michael for the organization of the event. Also thank you Michael for the accomodations and parking in the city, that was awesome!

Michael has some cool ideas for the next run. We definitely do not have to wait until next year to do this again. I'm game for another run in the next couple of months, life is too short as it is!!!

I am pretty happy with how well my little m50nv kept up with the pack during the quicker driving portion. Good driving, suspension, and gear choice makes it a pretty fun car to drive.

Im really wanting to do a m54 internals 3.0 stroker with my motor. TRM already has shelf tunes... Hmmm. With s50 spec cam regrinds, injectors, larger maf, and a proper tune, I should be able to get around 260-280hp at the flywheel. That a lightweight flywheel and a lsd rearend would be a real blast on the road. Just don't want a big decrease in mpg as shes my DD.

Anywho, awesome meet. Thanks everyone for coming out. I'm excited to do it again soon.

He actually has them for sale in the e34 section currently. They are Fikse 3 peice wheels, recently refinished and are 18x10 if I remember correctly. They are quite gorgeous, but need a little help with fitment in the front. A spacer/fender roll or a light stretch of the tire may be needed to get them to fit.

I think the brick work under the car really helps set the car off. This is a great picture though!

The 20mm spacers I have for the fronts work fine on the 535 but the 540 scrapes when cornering and/or braking hard (I'm guessing because the suspension is softer.) So I didn't want to worry about that on a 100+ miles out, spirited drive, 100+ miles drive back home. Buuuuuut the wider and better tires keep me from peeling out unless I really want to so I went ugly mismatch style.

Realistically you could go down to 255's instead of 265's up front and it'd miss. I'm scraping the very edge of the sidewall/contact patch of the tire as it sits.
